Hi, I think my son is ready to make the toilet transition from potty training to toilet training. He seems pretty afraid of it so far though and a friend of mine recommended this toilet seat:

Just wondering, has anyone else had success with this or anything similar? Thanks

I have this one. Much cheaper and easily swaps between toilets.
Mind you the soft close does help prevent little fingers getting slammed.

I have the bemis one. Bit cheaper in b&q when I bought it, I think.

We never used a potty though as ds is a big boy and they were all too small.

For the same reason the more portable one was pointless as it actually collapsed under his weight.

Would have had the cheaper one if ds wasn't such a lump, though.

We have the tipi toes one as well. DD is quite happy on it. Seems sturdy enough and reasonably comfy.
That first one is extremely expensive.

Thanks for the advice, will have a think.

The soft close really appeals to me because I can imagine him messing around and the lid falling down, plus once he's finished toilet training we can remove the small seat and have a soft close seat I guess.

Thanks again
