I can't believe nobody has asked this, it can't just be me wondering...

....how do you wipe your dc's bum after a poo on the potty? I'm so used to just doing it on the mat with his legs in the air, I just can't see how I'd do it, and don't want to be fumbling around with pooey wipes at the key moment when I'm supposed to be concentrating on praising DS!

Can you just lean them forward a bit and then put the wipes in a nappy bag? Then clean out the potty bowl separately?

Or is it easier to just use flushable wipes and flush them away as you're going along? If you're at home of course...?

I just used toilet paper. Chuck it in with the poo and flush it all when you have taken a photo for posterity said well done to ds.

Even easier -don't bother with a potty :)

I use wipes - toilet paper tends to 'stick' and 'drag'

Get them to bend over and touch the floor with their hands - they love doing it and gives you really good access..

You just have to be quick before they jump on the sofa or climb on your knee!! Grin

Move potty quickly whilst praising and reaching for the stickers

Yep, I do the same as p99
