Night accidents after 6 months dry at night

My DS is 4.4 yrs and has been dry during the day since he was 2.11yrs. He has been dry at night for about 6 months with an occasional wet bed, maybe once every 3-4 weeks. In the past week he has wet the bed 4 times.

He says he's not worried about anything but we had an awful playdate just before this started where he was pushed over a few times.

I don't know whether we should put him back into pullups or persevere. Has anyone got any advice?

What would DS like to do? You could give it another few days to see if he improves. It isn't unusual for relapses at times of stress, big life changes, illness and being overtired. Would he agree to wearing pullups for a week, say, and then try without? Otherwise you'll have to deal with all the washing for a while. Even more important is to reassure about the playdate incident.

Could it be a urine infection. My 3 dd's all get urine infections with no symptons, apart from wet beds!

Thanks for the advice.

He isn't really bothered by the accidents and isn't keen to go back to pull ups but I'm getting tired of getting up to change the bedding in the middle of the night.

I think I will try the pull ups for a week and see how that goes.

I'll bear in mind the urine infections too - thanks or the tip.

I have also told him he doesn't have to see the child the problem was with again and he seems happy with this.
