She's got very good verbal skills, has seemed to know when doing a poo (as would always hide behind the sofa) and has been saying "I don;t want to do wee-wee in my nappy I want to use the toilet like Mummy" for a while. So I thought she was ready.
So we went out, bought "big girl knickers" of her choice (and which she is thrilled with) and have been putting her on the loo (on training seat) every twenty to thirty minutes. She's happy enough to sit there with a book (and the tap running to try and help)
Nothing doing. We've had five wees and a poo on the floor today and just one in the loo - having been whisked there at the sign of a dribble.
Sometimes she does one within minutes of coming off the loo...
She doesn't seem to realise it's coming and gets a big surprise when there's a puddle, or seem to know what to do when on the loo...
Suggestions?
