Postpartum body

I’m currently 9 months postpartum and can say I have not experienced such bad lower back ache in all my life! Feel like my body is crumbling, my knees feel they could give way most days. My lower back feels incredibly sore and tender whenever I hold my baby. Wondering if this is common after giving birth due to hormonal changes? For context I’ve always maintained a very active lifestyle, even when pregnant. Strength training, walking etc. I feel like an 80 yr old woman, I can’t stand up quickly without my knees and shins aching horrendously. I’m starting to think it could be more sinister and whether a gp appointment is needed. I don’t usually take pain relief, but these past few days I’ve found myself reaching for paracetamol and ibuprofen. Wondering if there are any supplements people would suggest also???pos

No, this is not normal and is something I would get checked out, particularly as you are typically fit and strong without issues. Obviously try to make sure you're picking your baby up properly (not lifting and twisting etc) but otherwise it shouldn't be so sore!
