First period after C Section

Hi all, I’m almost 6 weeks postnatal. I had a C section at 40 weeks. I have not breast fed at all, my baby is exclusively formula fed since birth.

I feel like my period may return soon? I have a mild headache and sore throat. I’ve read online these can be symptoms due to the hormonal change.

has anyone else felt this way when their period returned?

It sounds like you've got a cold coming on!

Mine came back at 8 and 12 weeks with mine, so you might be close. Hope you kept your big pads because you'll probably need them!
