C-Section Infection? Push for it be rechecked?

I went to the docs a couple of days ago, as there was a bit of skin separation in the middle. They checked, said it wasn't infected and redressed it, the dressing has peeled off today, and has irritated my skin and it now looks a lot worse and like this. I feel okay, I definitely have a overhang, being plus size. Should I push for it to be rechecked?

Did they give antibiotics or anything? If they just redressed it I’d ask for some else to take a look. Can the midwife take a look maybe?

I have uploaded a photo, but it ofc sensitive material, so being reviewed. They didn't do anything with it but just redress it. They said to keep that on for seven days, as it was oozing a little. But its peeled off and wasn't holding on this evening. So I've removed it, given it a clean and airing it out. There was discharge on the dressing and the gauze when I cleaned it.

Definitely get it rechecked. I was given antibiotics Friday because my scar was causing pain and fluid was coming out but didn’t ‘look’ infected.

Oh this is good to know, I gave my midwife a call, and she is going to pop out this afternoon to have a look at it. I've popped some gauze on it, to help keep it dry, and there is definitely a bit of discharge coming from it.

I remember having to wipe with salt water which helped healing. Hopefully the MW will put your mind at rest. Congratulations.
