Ovulation bleeding - is this normal?

I am almost 10 months postpartum, my cycle returned in august despite me breastfeeding regularly every day (and night!).

since my period returned I’ve experienced cramping and bleeding around ovulation (at least I assume it’s ovulation.. it’s mid cycle so maybe?). I didn’t experience this prior to getting pregnant, so it’s a very inconvenient addition 😅

has anyone else experienced this? Did it last long? Did it eventually stop?

for reference I already know I have endometriosis, and recently got told I’m anaemic too

Ive had it since having my son. But I was 40 so im not sure if its perimenopause related or something else so we're investigating.

Just to add, doesn't it suck! Do you get tired and nauseous too?

Really @OhMaria2 ! I’m 32 so I hope it isn’t that. What tests/investigations have they done?

I’m shattered and definitely get nauseous too!! But I think that might be anaemia related for me (though who knows what came first!).

how long have you had this for?

Ive had blood tests and a scan. Ive got a polyp and some small cysts. Nothing to write home about but its definitely getting worse. Pain management doctor for hip pain thinks i might have endo but its not showing on scans, so I have no idea. But I actually feel unwell with it much worse than my period even.

Do you bleeding a lot with it or just a bit?

Its likely just weird hormones getting back to routine after having a baby but I would get it checked out
