Hair loss on arms and above the knee.

I have had quite excessive hair loss on my head, I have thick wavy hair so it’s not obvious but absolutely handfuls every wash.
I have lost all the hair on my arms and upper legs and initially my armpits but that grew back after a few weeks.
Has anyone else experienced this much loss PP?
I have posted this post natal but I it’s now been 12 months since the birth and no improvement.

I would suggest getting your iron and thyroid levels checked as pregnancy can play havoc with these.

I didn't need to shave under my arms for 4 months, but it didn't fall out, just stopped growing

My Mum lost most of her body hair when she had me! She still has almost no body hair 30+ years later.

I have never shaved my arms so I assume it must have fallen out, I just noticed one day my arms were smooth.
I still have eyelashes and brows and leg hair and down below but a smooth upper lip, arms and thighs.
Armpits grew back.
This is my 3rd baby and I’ve never experienced this before.

Oh goodness, did it effect her head too?
