Hi everyone, I’ve got a question about relactation.
My baby is 4 months old and I didn’t breastfeed before, but I’m thinking about trying to bring my milk in now. Has anyone done this or had any success starting later on?

I stopped breastfeeding at 5 weeks and reestablished a month or two later. I took baby to bed with me for a couple of days (I had raging flu, hadn’t been planning on reestablishing) and let him suckle as much as he wanted, and milk came in again over the next few days. It was a bit sore but on the other hand, I found feeding an older baby quite a bit easier than a newborn.

Best of luck OP, hopefully someone will be along to give you better advice soon. It’s a while ago now and unfortunately my memory is hazy.
