Pumping query

I've very recently started pumping using the Medela Swing Maxi double electric breast pump.

I'm having problems with the flanges having an airtight seal. I've tried using both the 24mm and 21mm flanges. I experience the same problem with both - during pumping, there are gaps between the white rim of the flange and my skin. As a result, I've noticed that small amounts of milk leak out under the bottom of the flange.

No clothes are getting in the way. As far as I can see, the parts are all well-connected too.

Has anyone experienced this before please and got any advice to improve the overall suction of the flanges?

Thank you ☺️

Use smaller flanges. You can get them online.

Probably the size of the flange. For most women, the 24mm and 21mm that come with the pumps are way too big.

I’d say try a smaller flange as well. Have you found the Infant Feeding section yet @MelliehaBay93? That can be very helpful as well Smile
