Laser hair before TTC

Just wondered if anyone has had laser hair removal - particularly in groin region before successfully having kids?

Reason I ask is I am halfway through my treatment and plan to TTC in the near future.

I wonder though if the hair will come back with pregnancy or post natal hormones?
curious to hear other women’s experiences.

I would take the advice of the clinician doing the laser on you, because they will know the strength of the laser, guidance around pregnancy etc.

Unfortunately, I wasn't successful in having babies to term, so not sure you want to hear from me? I did have 3 pregnancies, 10yrs after laser therapy. The MC's were not related to hair removal at all though.

A nurse friend did a stint at a laser hair removal place and she practiced on me. I'm fair with dark hair and only had 1 session. My underarm hair reduced to a few hairs and there are bikini hairs that never returned since that session. Even during each pregnancy, I never noticed any hair growth where I'd been lasered. After that, I bought a Braun IPL to use at home. I didn't find it as effective as the salon laser and can't really say how effective it was. The single, salon treatment I had was over 20yrs ago and still no further hair growth where I had it done.

Wishing you the best of luck x

I had laser about 7 years ago, had to shave once every few weeks. I did notice more growing back once I had my baby and now i have to shave every week. so I am putting off having it again until I have another as we plan on TTC early next year.
Especially when postpartum hair loss comes, I found it was growing back more (obviously I know but I was more worried about my bald patches at that time haha)
