Hi, I had my baby in February 2025 Emergency c - section, got my 1st period at the end of June and it's still going, at first there was hardly any blood, the past month its non stop large clots alot of bleeding I have bein to the doctors they won't do antyting all they suggested was the pill or coil, I do have pcos don't know if maybe its because of that, my periods where irregular, but before I got pregnant they where coming regular I'd have a period evey month. I just wanted to know if anyone has been through this, as I'm getting fed up, seems like the doctors don't want to help.

Hey OP, when you say doctors did you see one GP or multiple? I'm not a health professional but I don't like the sound of that. If you saw one GP, you're entitled to a second opinion.

I've started to get very stern with the doctors when I feel like they're being dismissive. I've gone for a third and fourth opinion if I'm still getting ignored. I've seen some people online recommend to ask the GP to add a note that they're refusing treatment or investigation. I haven't tried that but it's in my back pocket for now. But I understand it takes time and energy to get stern.

Do you have someone you could bring with you to the next appointment, a partner or someone else you trust?

Hi, yes I say one GP.
Getting in to see the GP is hard its all online and they ask so many questions as to why you want to see a GP. Im just waiting now for my period to stop but there's no sign of that, I'll have a light flow and think finally its nearly the end, but then I get a full flow, I just don't know what to do.

When i did see the GP, she said she would to another GP and call me back, all they suggested was bloods to check my iron levels and either take the pull or get the coil fitted.
