Hi
I’m 5 months PP.
EBF and now want to stop but baby won’t take a bottle.
Any tips please?

Will baby take a bottle from someone else if you're not present? That was the only way my DD would take one and she still wasn't keen. No helpful tips I'm afraid as I pretty much EBF for a year because of it. Maybe try offering the bottle when she's not overly hungry so that it doesn't become distressing. Also try different bottles/teats in case baby prefers a different texture etc. Good luck.

How are you getting on @fthisfthatfeverything?

We had to change milk and few times including dairy free which is rank. My aunt is an old school midwife and told us to start putting 2 or 3 drops of vanilla essence (check its alcohol free - who knew!!) In the first bottle, and reduce by a drop a day over 3 days. Really helped.

Also - you may have to leave thr first day to your partner and go out for the day. Harder for them to get on the bottle if your boobs are there. My MIL checked herself into a hotel for the night in the 80s as my husband could smell the milk and wouldnt touch a bottle while she was there.... think of it as a well earned night away 🤣🤣
