Tampon - Almost 3 weeks after birth

Does anyone know if it is safe to wear a tampon almost 3 weeks after birth (vaginal birth and have had stitches) just for a few hours as a one off, will put a fresh one in after 2 hours????

I am out with a friend today, unfortunately I am missing her wedding due to it being in Cyprus in 2 weeks time and only just having a baby so I am going to her final dress fitting today as I will miss seeing her on the big day. The only trousers I have that currently fit me are white and I really want to wear them so I would need to wear a thong but obviously can’t wear a big pad with this.

This is not a good idea. Why not just wear your maternity clothes ?

Absolutely not. You have no way of knowing how healed you are..surely you have some.maternity clothes? Either way, you're going to need.more the 1 pair of white trousers so maybe purchase a few cheapish items to get you through

@CatsMagic@Wisenotboring that is fine, I have dresses to wear as I lived in them when pregnant but both pairs of leggings have holes in them 🙈and I still don’t fit into my jeans, just really wanted to wear my white trousers I have been dying to wear all summer but I understand if a tampon is a solid No. thank you

Could you wear a smaller pad and change more frequently? I'd worry about the risk of infection with a tampon.
