Period returned…then disappeared!

I gave birth 7 weeks ago, and I had bleeding on Monday (so 6 weeks 4 days after birth) then on Thursday there was nothing, just slightly bloody discharge and now today I’m back to red blood!!
anyone else experience this before?? Is it just my hormones all over the place?

Not sure what your PP bleed was like. But mine was on and off for around 8 weeks so could it be that?

Ooh really! Well I bled for a week, then had retained placenta fall out🥴 then bled for probably another week or so and it then stopped for a couple of weeks until this week
just wondering if it could just be on and off for a bit!

Oh god bet that was a shock! Don’t know if that could maybe throw it off too? I didn’t get a period until 6m though and not had one since (8m pp), it’s all a bit wild and unpredictable isn’t it 🤪

Im 9 weeks pp and my first period started on Sunday, was really light and I thought it was gone but then got heavy from Wednesday and still heavy now. Have no idea how long it will last but seems similar to yours.
