Period after c section?

I might seem ridiculous worrying about this but

did anyone have really light periods after c section?

I had my emergency c section on 22 feb, I exclusively pumped until a week ago. I began having periods again in April, this is now my third period

first 2 periods were light, still needed a pad but werent filling pads, could feel blood flows tho.

this is my 3rd period, I’m getting no cramps, I didn’t with my last two either, but there is literally nothing on my pad, just dark pink brown discharge when wiping?

is this normal? I’ve jumped right to the conclusion that they have botched me and now I have scarring, just looking for any reassurances if possible

After my C-section 7 years ago mine were super light. Barely even needed a pad although I was on the pill. I came off the pill last year and still it was super light compared to before, but slightly heavier then when I was on the pill. Before I had my section I would use a tampon and pad some days.

Similar to you, my periods for about 6 months after my C section were pretty light and non painful. Then they continued to be fairly light but my pms would be through the roof. Still not painful but I struggled to control my rage. Now 2 years on they are back to how they always were before and hormones have leveled out. Everyone is different. I doubt they have botched your C section.

Weird, mine are heavier. They were very light before DD1, slightly heavier before DD2 , and now much heavier (both CSs).

My periods were much lighter than before pregnancy and I also didn’t have my usual bad cramping. It went on for a few months and then turned into my usual heavy and painful. I am so sad I am having my crazy periods again as I really enjoyed those months with lighter bleeding.

I think mine are possibly lighter since having my baby by c section two years ago, I pumped for six months but not enough to be exclusive and got my period back after only about 8 weeks. I wonder if the hormonal rebalancing that comes with pregnancy and postpartum rather than c section though
