Is my C-section incision opening?

Hi,

I had my son a few days ago by C-section and everything went well. It felt quite painful today, so I checked my incision and it looks like it may be opening. I have tried not bending, stretching and that to avoid any injuries to the area. I tried looking at photos online to see if that's was the case, but it's difficult to tell. I'm seeing my midwife on Monday, but I just wanted to check.

It doesn't look like it from your photo although it can be hard to tell from one photo. It looks clean and free from infection too which is good.

I’ve had 2 sections and they looked pretty much the same as this both times. Both were fine and healed well. It’s difficult to tell from a photo though. If you’re worried definitely speak to midwife or health visitor if only to put your mind at ease. Congratulations on your baby!

It doesn't look like it. Mine opened at both ends and it was very clear they were open, like a small hole. Your incision will be painful for a good while yet OP try not to worry x

That looks like a very healthy healing section site to me.
With my last section a small 5 piece sized area opened up and it looked like when you pull your under eye down, very vivid.

Looks fine to me.

This looks really good for a few days postnatal. I can't see a single area I'd be worried about.
