im back again for c section wound advise
im 13 weeks pp, emergency c
my wound was infected around 10 week mark, given a round of antibiotics for 1 week but it still looked awful.
seen the nurse twice, who patronised me saying “is this ur first section” on both visits. Repeatedly told me it was healing well, even tho I was showing her it would scab then ooze. To begin with it was one side, now the other side started to raise as if something was underneath it, she told me it was how I was sewen up, that then burst with horrendous oooze 3 days later! I refused to see that nurse again, dragging my 11 week old down twice to be ignored and told to eat a healthy diet!!! Sent a pic in, reviewed by Gp and given another week antibiotics, since incompetent nurse refused to give me them.
I seen the same gp, who agreed, still not good after a week of antibiotics but small improvement so I have been given another week of antibiotics but she is also referring me for a scan to see if there is anything underneath.. has any one had this before? I’m v scared 🥹
im not desperate to have another baby, but terrified there will be loads of complications now and won’t be a choice (hypochondriac)
