First period after birth

Hi all,

Im 9 weeks postpartum and haven’t had a period yet. Just wondering when people had their first one after birth?

About 4 weeks after I stopped breast feeding both times. I think this is fairly normal though doesn’t mean you can’t get pregnant.

About 6 months. Fairly common I think. My mum says she was the same each time

About 10 weeks with my first, 7 weeks with my second x

Are you breastfeeding? Mine didn't come back until 4-6weeks after I stopped breastfeeding (so DD1 around 11months post partum, DD2 around 10months post partum).

About 13 months I think, a long time anyway!

Sorry just to add, I’m not breastfeeding so should I have one sooner?

4 weeks after birth, despite exclusively breastfeeding!

5 months with DC2 to the day!!

DC1 was about 2/3 months

Mine has just returned 10 weeks post birth. I formula feed aswell so was expecting it sooner. It is however extremely heavy. This is my 4th baby and never had as much bleeding as this time x
