Periods postpartum

Hi All,

How long did it take for everyone's periods to return to normal? I'm currently 7 weeks pp and at 5 weeks I got my first period which lasted 7 days. 7 days after that I have experienced bleeding again, but not like that of a period, sorry for too much information but the blood is pink/ very pale red and not much is coming into the toilet or onto tissue etc. I have a call with GP tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else's periods were all over the place etc!

Yes all over the place for a while. For one of my kids it took nearly 6 months to regulate but everyone is different

4 months & I was EBF.

If not breastfeeding I think usually about 6 weeks. Breastfeeding anything from then until you stop feeding really.
