6 months postpartum period

I had my daughter 6 months ago and I know my periods would take a while to go back to normal but this period has been more like spotting rather than a period.
I gave birth in July and my first period was in October, everything was normal. Arrived on time, I experienced the cramping & the normal 5 days of bleeding, Novembers period was the exact same - arrived on time, experience 5 days of normal bleeding.
once Decembers period came around everything changed, it was “late” by a week although my period did eventually come it was again 5 days of bleeding & everything that comes with it.
now this is where I’m worried, this period has been more like spotting rather than bleeding. It’s again been a week late & when it did arrive I’ve only had three days of light spotting should I be concerned. I have taken pregnancy tests & they have been negative) not that I suspect I’m pregnant as we have been extremely safe but more so at the fact to cancel things out) is this completely normal ? Should I be concerned that my 4th period since giving birth has been more spotting than an actual period ? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Are you breastfeeding?

Are you breastfeeding?

No. Formula feeding and have been since day one.

Your hormones will still be all over the place, I think. Bumping in case someone else sees this and can be more helpful.

Lack of periods has been the only upside for me when breastfeeding, hated everything else about it 😂
