Debrief following EMCS

Morning :)
I had an EMCS and following my surgery the surgeon came to the ward to visit me and informed me that I could have a debrief to discuss what happened etc.
Has anyone had a debrief before? Did you find it beneficial? What did it entail and would you recommend it?
Thanks
Lauren

I had one after my ELCS. I found it beneficial and it also allowed the midwife who did the debrief with me to refer me for further counselling. It was useful for me as it allowed me to get more info on what had gone wrong and other issues and for me to question information I found in my notes on the badger app that hadn't been shared directly with me.

There isn't a right or wrong answer, only how you feel about it.
If you can't face it right now, would it be possible to defer the debrief for a while?
