Positive LH test then period 5 days later? 11 weeks postpartum (bottle feeding)

Just that really! I was worried my period hadn’t returned (third baby and both others returned 6/7 weeks PP), so I was doing ovulation tests. I got a definite positive over the weekend and then today, 5 days later, I’ve started bleeding? I don’t understand. When TTC baby 3 my period was always 10 days after I ovulated. Anyone experienced anything similar? Worrying!

Bumping as I’m going out of my mind! Here are my ovulations tests, Friday AM, Friday PM then Saturday AM. To add there’s zero chance I’m pregnant unless it was immaculate conception….

You are only 11 weeks postpartum so cycles may not have returned to normal yet.
Who told you it would have to be 'immaculate conception'? If you've been having unprotected sex then of course it's possible.
Take a pregnancy test to rule it out?

I think she means exactly that, they’ve not been having sex.

OP- 11 weeks is super early. It takes a while for hormones and subsequently cycles to regulate PP. Mine we’re all over the place for 5 or so months from clockwork pre-baby.

Sorry OP I didn't read properly and thought someone else had told you that you couldn't be pregnant. Obviously you know if you've not been having sex!
Probably just hormones settling down, hopefully things will regulate again soon.

Thanks for the replies, yes it would be impossible for me to be pregnant because we have not had sex 😂
Okay I’m really hoping it’s just hormones settling down, thanks for helping me be a bit reasonable about it. Even though it’s my third time going through this it’s so different this time! Wish I hadn’t even done the ovulation tests now and I wouldn’t be questioning anything 🙄
