1 week postpartum..
2nd degree tear but incredible birth so am feeling ok.

wondered a few things:

postpartum belts- recommendations?
2nd degree tear - itchiness!! The hospital have said it’s totally normal but I’m in so much discomfort by evening. On antibiotics and taking painkillers.

When will the bleeding stop? I have moments of heavy flow then hours n hours of spotting type flow.

Regarding the itchy stitches, yes it’s normal. Are you bathing them twice a day? Sitting in a bath should help, try some Epsom salts in it.
Bleeding can go on for weeks, will be worse if/when you breast feed.

The itchy will be a sign it's healing. Salt baths are amazing for a tear though. The bleeding comes and goes for quite a while yet sorry. It can be up to 6 weeks I think but by the first 2 weeks the worst gushes will be over. Don't do too much as that can cause the bleeding to increase again
