First post partum period heavy

My youngest is almost 2 years old and I'm still breastfeeding. My period had only just returned after it being absent for 32 months since I fell pregnant. Happy days for me.

My period is so heavy! How long did yours last for the first time, particularly if you had a very large gap between your last as I have.

my first period was so so heavy but not painful like they were before. It lasted a little longer than pre pregnancy. All my periods have been much heavier, I’m breastfeeding too
