Postpartum period

hi had a c section 6 weeks ago, lochia stopped fully around week 3/4 and I’m assuming this bleeding I’ve got now is my first period again due to cramping, sore breasts and legs..
question though, was anyone else’s first like a bloody massacre? Is it normal for it to be super heavy, did anyone else experience their first period or first couple to be like this?

First period didn’t come until after I stopped breastfeeding but it hurt like a bitch!!

super heavy one!! Felt like my body was punishing me for having such a long break hah

I had my first period around 4.5 months post c-section and it was like all the periods I’d missed over the past year came at once. Bloody carnage
