Hi:) . Looks like I have to start with escitalopram again, but read that several people experience little to no effect when they start again, even if the effect was good the first time. :/ Does anyone have experience with starting medicine again?

Yes!I had to start it again after a friend passed away and my anxiety became unbearable.A low dose and it really and truly helped me so much.

@PartyLlama thank you very much for your reply :) did it take a long time before you started feeling better when you started again? very glad to hear that the medicine worked for you the second time you used them, that gives me hope. I have heard of several people who had a good effect the first time, but not the second time. Did you use the same medicine both times? :)

Yes,used lexapro both time and lower dose the second time but it does take a few weeks to work properly but the gp tells you that anyway.A friend of mine is also on it for the third time, she has been on it after each baby and she has found it works each time.Ive never heard anyone say anything to the contrary tbh but saying that,I don't go openly telling people about my experience either!
