Hey guys, I'm 8 weeks post partum and my tummy still looks pregnant, how long before things settled for you? Is this something I should worry about? I know I have extra weight on but I still look 6 months pregnant 🥺

Hi lovely, congratulations on your baby! Honestly everybody is different, it took 9 months to grow your baby, it can take at least 9 months for your body to go back! I’m 5 months PP now but by about 4 weeks PP my tummy had no “bump” but my waist was obviously bigger than it had been pre-pregnancy and nowhere near as tight as it once was! I didn’t look pregnant just a bit bigger than normal, by 3/4 months PP I was back in all my old clothes & jeans. One of my best friends still felt she looked pregnant a year PP and embraced the new body, she looks fab. And another of my friends literally had her pre-pregnancy jeans on the day after she got home from hospital after birth! Literally everybody is different, don’t worry about it, just enjoy your baby x

Aw thank u so much, that is such a nice reply. I know it's not what I should be fixating on ,it's just hard not recognizing yourself in the mirror I guess , I'll keep my chin up though ❤️
