Very sore breasts

Anyone experienced similar?

I'm 6 weeks pp, combi feeding, and for the last 2 days, my breasts have been really sore, i.e., hard, a bit red, and a little flaky. Also, throughout the day, I keep getting a sharp pain in both nipples.

Any ideas about what's causing it?

Do your symptoms sound like any of these ones @Minky01?

It sounds like you might have the beginnings of mastitis maybe

Yes, a little. I've been putting hot and cold compresses on and trying to nurse a bit more, which has helped, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 thank you
