Prolapse Help!!

Hi, sorry if any of this is TMI but I really need some help.

I gave birth a week ago via emergency C Section after which I struggled to go to the toilet for around 3/4 days and haven't been again since that 1 time. I have been getting severe pain in my bum area, which I assumed were piles but when applying germaloid I've noticed a hard pea sized lump sticking out of my anus that seems to push all the way back up when I attempted to see what it was, so not a standard pile.

I'm really worried what this is and all that's coming up on Google is rectal prolapse (but I can't currently root around in my vagina to feel if I have any other symptoms happening in that area) or piles.

I'm really scared about what this is. I'm only 27 and don't want to end up with bowel issues. My DM has chrons so I know how debilitating those issues can become. I'm also obviously constipated and so scared for when I'm going to need the toilet again.

Has anyone had similar and knows what this is? Any recommendations on how to treat this or is it something that can go away on its own (feels unlikely)? I suspect I need to contact the doctor first thing Tuesday to try and get this looked at but it's hard enough to get an appointment as it is.

Any advice please. I've never had any medical issues this concerning before 😔

Also to note I was given stool softners post surgery but they've clearly done absolutely nothing so far since the one and only time I've managed to go to the toilet I've ended up with this issue. It wasnt something that was there before birth or even before using the toilet.

Sounds much much more like a pile.

I work in pelvic health. As above sounds more like a pile than a prolapse.
try different stool softeners, toilet positioning, lots of fluids and supplements like golden linseed to avoid any straining at the moment x

So is the hard lump likely just a different type of pile compared to the standard squishy ones? (Tmi Sorry)

Is it worth an attempt at the doctors on Tuesday to make sure it's nothing more serious? It's the hard lump that's worrying more than anything as it feels like a it's a long stringy thing like a protruding vein or something.
