Period return while tandem feeding

For any tandem feeding mummas out there. When did your period return when tandem feeding? My second is 18 months old and still no sign of my period making its return. First time round, when only feeding my son, it returned just after a year when I returned to work.

I didnt tandem feed, but my AF came back at 18 months both times.

What are you night feeds like? My AF cake back when they night feeds had started to reduce

My little one tends to wake 1 once or twice while my older one is night weaned.

maybe my cycle will return soon. I definitely feel ready to wean my eldest completely anyway, just finding it hard to cut him down whilst still feeding his sister.

Have you thought of doing some gentle night weaning with DC2 so at least you have some time when you're not available?

That would be a good shout. I think I’ve opted to just feed her for an easy life at night but the thought of a full nights sleep after 3 and a half years sounds like bliss so definitely something to consider. Thanks
