So long story short I gave birth 6 weeks ago and had left over placenta. 4 weeks ago I had the evac procedure to remove what was left. I had a very bad bleed that evening which resorted to me having a blood transfusion.
I was told 2/3 weeks and the bleeding would stop. However I’m on week 4 today and still bleeding. Not heavily but it’s just constant. I spoke to the doctor today to request another scan as I’m not convinced they have removed everything and was told I have to wait until I’m 6 weeks post op before they will request a scan. Then tonight I’ve passed another clot. I will be ringing the hospital tomorrow as I’m not confident that everything’s ok but I just wanted to see if anyone else bleed for so long or am I being fobbed off again? Thanks for reading
