RookieMa · 24/07/2024 18:15

If your worried go to A&E

It's probably just a simple rash like heat or milk but you won't know till you see healthcare professionals

Sunny1234567 · 24/07/2024 18:17

I would call your GP or 111 for advice.

RookieMa · 24/07/2024 18:25

Try not to freak out

How is your baby in himself compared to usual

Quiet, floppy, listless, crying more or less than usual, sleeping more or less than usual, grizzly etc etc

RookieMa · 24/07/2024 18:26

Temperature?
Hot to touch ?
Cold to touch ?
Eyes following you around as per usual ?

Is the rash spreading ?

He looks just like my second born, he had a milk allergy.

JSerb · 24/07/2024 18:33

I called 111, they don’t seem worried. They said someone will give me a call. I haven’t called the GP because it’s late.
This progressed since Friday, with a few spots here and there but today looks the worst.

She seems fine. Temperature is normal.
She is 5 weeks old tomorrow and every single little change worries me.

How long did it take to pass?

As it should

Always trust your instincts

If in doubt go to A&E to get her looked at for reassurance

Some newborns get a kind of teenage acne. It’s from leftover hormones from the mother. It passes.

He still has a milk allergy at 6years old. It didn’t get better only worse until I gave up breast feeding and gave him allergy prescription milk. If you think it could be a milk allergy you need to see a DR and he will prescribe babies milk and you collect it from the pharmacy.

Definitely looks like a milk allergy (my son had the same). If formula feeding go to gp and ask for neocate (don't let them fob you off with a cheaper one, they're not as good).

I’m breastfeeding. And it started those from those days when it was hot.
