Csection wound opening infection

Hi ladies,

I had my second csection 2 weeks ago. 5-6 days ago my wound opened in two places and is really painful. I have almost finished my course of antibiotics and theres been no change at all and no sign of healing. Also my wound looks like a botched job just wondering if it looks 'normal'. Im very paranoid as the obstetricians were arguing amongst themselves during my surgery and my wound looks nothing like my first csection.

Also does anyone have any tips on how to heal quicker please as I don't want to be like this for months on end as some people's experience bave been. Thank you and apologies for the images.

I think I'd speak to the mid wife on the phone about it to see what she advised.

I had a small opening line yours, the GP gave me an antibiotic cream to apply. Definitely worth a visit to put your mind at ease and get some more advice if needed.

My tiny hole has reopened again, so I'm possibly not the best placed to have advise but have been told to air it as much as possible and avoid lifting (which I think I have been, but be extra careful). I'm also now starting to take a multivitamin every day, and some collagen supplements... Worth a shot!

Definitely get it looked at, it's not worth the risk of leaving it and the stress will also slow healing.
