First period post breastfeeding

I had my first period 2 weeks ago, little one is 15 months, I'm still breastfeeding but night weaned which I assume is what brought the period back. The period was relatively normal, but since they finished I keep getting bad pain in where I assumemy ovaries are, on off. If I touch my lower tummy it actually feels tender. Anyone else experienced this?

I started to get much worse ovulation pains after pregnancy. It's like a dull ache for a day and then a really sharp pain all the way through my bum, then it's gone again the next day. Could it be ovulation?

@WonderingWanda I'm not sure because that's what I initially thought too but it's been on off now for over a week, and tonight it's irritatingly uncomfortable, put me off going for a run even

Any chance you could be pregnant again?

@WonderingWanda no I did a test this morning just incase. I think if it persists I'll make a doctors appointment in the morning. I thought it could be my appendix but it's on my left side more than anywhere else!
