I'm 13 weeks PP, and I had an elective c section. The c section was quite traumatic, my body richoceting quite violently during it due to the baby being stuck and the clean up afterwards. My DH saying he was shocked about how much they were rocking my body. Since then, I've had constant back pain and spasms. I get nerve twitches on occasion, causing my lower body to twitch. The pain is debilitating, but due to the trauma of surgery, I've wanted to avoid hospitals at all costs. On top of now being given 2 months' notice to vacate my rented property with my baby and having to pack up our belongings, I'm struggling with the pain. The entirety of my torso is in pain. My ribs feel like I have muscle pain, and my middle to upper back feels the same. The lower back is in constant spasm and stiffness. I haven't felt like I've been able to rest since my DD arrived, having to be the main parent due to husband working nights. No matter how I sleep/sit, I'm in pain. I take paracetamol and ibuprofen but it really doesn't touch the pain. The pain causes nausea and im struggling to go out. Im scared to go to the drs as i dont want to go to the hospital. But starting to think the c section has left me damaged. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to make it better? Genuinely struggling with this now, I just want to know it gets better.
