Has anyone experienced being diagnosed with a 3rd degree tear and turns out no damage to muscle on 12 week scan?
I was given a 3a tear diagnosis after my second (1st was a 2nd). The midwife said she was not sure if this was neither did the consultant but diagnosed it as this as its better to repair now then later on. This has caused me so much distress having this diagnoses! I am hoping there is a chance that i have no damage to my muscle which would mean its a 2nd degree tear... If any of this makes sense!
I am looking at having a 3rd ( crazy i know) but know i will be asked to have a section which i dont want but cant imagine another tear and being ok!
