So I’m 24 days PP today, had an EMCS under general, caught an infection 8 days later, IV and oral anti biotics which seems to have cleared it however I have had two stomach bugs in this time. One was only about 3 days PP and I put it down to lack of sleep, being under general etc. then I got the infection so I wondered if that was it brewing?? However now my wound looks pretty much healed but I’ve had sickness and diarrhoea for 48 hours. Thought it had passed after about 12 but came back with a vengeance last night! So paranoid it means I have an infection somewhere to do with my incision even though that looks healed. Have I just been unlucky due to post partum hormones lowering immune system?? Feeling better now and no fever, chills, headache, rapid heart beat etc.
