Ive been having bright red blood which i am pretty certain comes from the vagina rather than rectal bleeding, whenever I do a no.2… I also get a dull ache sometimes. My baby was very big (10lb) and I had a vaginal birth with 2nd degree tear.

it stopped for a while and has just returned and i also notice tiny little clots too. I had a transvaginal ultrasound a month or so ago and there’s no retained product but I don’t know what else this could be?! I’m going for a private appointment to look into it further next week, but now am freaking out what if it is coming from the rectal area and what could that mean? Like I said I’m pretty sure it isn’t, but what if it is :( feel worried it’s been left 6 months with no answer

Have you got piles?

Ultimately we can’t tell you but it makes the most sense that it’s post partum related. Hope you get some answers from dr x
