I'm day 10 into breastfeeding my little one and I've got a red pin prick rash around my areola... it was just on 1 side and that's the side that's generally still toe curling painful upon latch and it seems to have spread to the left side too. I can't tell if the rash is to do with the pain as the left side seems to now be a bit more painful on latching.
No other marks or lumps anywhere, no white in babies mouth, just these little red dots all around my nips!
Any ideas what it could be? Mentioned it to midwife today and she just said keep an eye on it and see the gp if it gets worse.
