Thigh pain

Looking for some advice, I had my little boy 11 weeks ago now, since he was about 2 weeks old I’ve had a pain in the side of my thigh that just doesn’t go away, I never mentioned it to a midwife at his check ups (stupid I know) as I wasn’t that concerned at the time. It hurts to touch or if I put pressure on it etc.

Today I’ve now developed a pain across the middle of my thigh and my leg feels numb. I did have pethadine in that leg I’m pretty sure the exact spot as I remember him putting the needle in my tattoo which is where the pain is.

I don’t think it’s a blood clot as my leg isn’t swollen or red etc and I’ve had it weeks, could it be related to the injection?

Hi @Rubylu
How did this go? I also am having a pain in my right thigh near where they did the injection to deliver placenta. When I walk feels like a nerve like shooting! Seeing midwife in a few days but keen to hear outcome for you!

@Nads35
Its now been 6 months since I had him and I still get the pain, not as often as I did but occasionally, nothing has ever been done about it so I’m guessing it’s just a case of waiting it out it has got a lot better though!!

Oh interesting @GetUpStandUp4 how were you diagnosed with this? How did you manage to get rid of it?
