Hello all, I had my third C-section nearly 7 weeks ago now. I bled heavily for 3 days and then had nothing until 4 weeks postpartum when I started bleeding small clots and had pain. I was given antibiotics for a week due to suspected retained products (I had this during my 2nd section). I'm having a scan to confirm everything came out but it won't be for another 3 days.
The bleeding and pain stopped after the antibiotics but for the last few days I'm having random bursts of brown blood, period like cramps and very small clots.
I'm worried something is wrong or if this is normal?
The blood doesn't smell, I have no temperature and I don't have any pain. I have been a bit more active recently but that's it. I also haven't had a period yet and not sure if that's normal either.
