When did your period return? (combi feeding)

Please could I ask for experiences for when period returned post birth?

I’m 4 months post partum and mine hasn’t returned yet..

I know if EBF it can take longer… I am doing 80% BF and 20% formula though.

also I have had long stretches of not breastfeeding when baby was sleeping through the night (sadly no longer!)

Thanks!

Was ebfing but it was 18 months both times. I moved them to their own rooms around 14 months and that led to a reduction in bight feeds.

6 weeks both times🤦🏼‍♀️

Three months and I was combi feeding at the same ratio - 1 bottle every day, bf 8-10 times a day.

After each of my three children, all ebf and my periods returned within weeks, rather than months.

We were talking about this the other day as some of us in our NCT are thinking of trying again. I bf initially and I had my period after 2 months (combi-fed for 8m in total) . In my NCT, 1 ff from day one and didn’t get hers back until 9m. 2 ebf and one had theirs at 7m (a month after stopping), the other was 1yr and continues to bf. 2 combi-fed and one had hers after 6m, and the other still hasn’t had hers (nearly 2.5yrs now).

About 6 months when I was EBF DD1. I’m now combi feeding DD2 who is 7 months, and there’s no sign of it (which is great!).

I combi fed for around 6 weeks, my periods didn't come back until 12ish weeks post partum

Thanks all - I was a bit concerned I haven’t got mine back yet as I’d like option of trying for no2 next year but it sounds like the timing of return of periods varies massively. Mine were always regular before falling pregnant though.

A month after I stopped feeding at all (17 months) I was down to one a day for ages but it stayed away until I fully dropped it. I think that's relatively uncommon though
