Hi all
I had a planned c section 11 weeks ago. First baby. All went fine. I bled for 6 weeks then had first period which was heavy as expected. I wasn't able to breastfeed. I then had another period 19 days from start of previous period. Much shorter. I've then woken up this morning to bright red bleeding again, only 12 days since the start of the previous one.
I'm starting to worry that this isn't normal? The bleeding is bright red and not like my usual periods which used to be quite light. I've not noticed any big clots, no foul smelling discharge in between etc. My cycle prior to pregnancy was usually between 22-24 days so I've always been on the shorter side.
I have had a particularly rough time post birth with significant PND and anxiety. On Sertraline since 1 week prior to giving birth.
I'm loathe to go to GP as I'm sure I'll get fobbed off or put on a crazy long waiting list to see a gynae medic. Just wondered if this is to be expected after giving birth with hormones settling down?
