I'm 2 weeks postpartum today and I had a 3b tear. My stitches seem to have been healing fine. Earlier I went to the toilet and when I was washing, I noticed something hanging out of my bum so I pulled it out and it was a long stitch about the length of my index finger. It didn't hurt to pull out and I feel the same - maybe a little sore. I'm wondering if this is a cause for concern? My stitches are dissolvable but do they sometimes fall out? I can't remember this happening with my first baby where I had an episiotomy and 2nd degree tear.
