Not sure if this is the right thread but my baby’s legs keep going to the side when laying on her back. They always stay like that. Is this normal?

Was she breach or a c-section baby? My baby used to do this a lot but grew out of it. He still sometimes does it but I don’t particularly take any notice as drs told it was normal.
Maybe just keep an eye and if you’re worried, phone the drs? They might just make sure the baby’s hips are ok!

You can make an appointment with your GP to have your baby's hips retested. Better safe than sorry in my books. Hopefully nothing to worry about

Happens to my daughter too (she was c-section in case it’s relevant!). Took her to the doctor a few weeks ago and they said not to worry as she can weight bare when standing (too young to stand on her own but when I’m holding her she puts weight on her feet).
