TMI alert - cervix and bowels

Hello,

I am 4 months postpartum and I am dealing with constipation, bloating and flatulence. I am also EBF.

This is TMI but I noticed that it looks like part of my vagina is on the outside and when I checked my insides (TMI) I felt like my cervix was wide open - I could place my finger inside. I also think I was spotting slightly as I strained but can't be sure.

I lost my son at 33 weeks last year so have had two babies within 13 months bit both were easy labours.

I am hugely worried something is terribly wrong - anyone had anything similar? Any insight to what is happening?

Many thanks in advance!

I suspect that what you think is your cervix probably isn’t your cervix. You’ll need to get checked over by a doctor.

Constipation and straining is bad news if you have any sort of prolapse. Get yourself some Laxido OTC and start taking a couple of sachets daily. It’s a stool softener and doesn’t make flatulence worse, unlike some laxatives.
