Hello, I’d love to hear your experiences of postnatal doulas.
I’m pregnant with my first child, and due to a lack of family support I’d love to a postnatal doula.
Please let me know if you found them useful, particularly when it comes to helping you: -
*adjust to motherhood
*breastfeeding
*getting baby to sleep
*cooking (hey I heard this is a thing)
On a side note, my friend who lives in the US said she and her husband had a doula in the room when giving birth too. My husband and I think we would just want it to be us, but I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences.
Thank you 😊
