im currently 4 weeks and 5 days postpartum and yesterday I had the copper coil inserted. Since having it inserted I’ve had period like cramps and heavy bleeding with some clots. I don’t know if this is my period or side effect from the coil. Before insertion my pp bleeding was very light like pink/brown. Just as I thought the pp bleeding was coming to an end I now have this heavy bleeding.
